Damon O'Connell, owner of Flashback Data, will give a presentation on his company's long standing experience in digital forensics and data recovery. Flashback Data was featured on the Dateline episode, Ghosts Can't Talk, on January 12, 2024, for their role in uncovering key communications that led to the conviction of a 19-year old man for conspiring to have his parents killed. https://www.statesman.com/story/news/2021/04/07/austin-man-serve-35-years-murder-hire-plot-kill-parents/7122323002/ Mr. O'Connell will speak about Flashback Data's pivotal role in the murder trial, along with other notable cases he has worked on. Mr. Connell will also speak about the differences between data recovery and digital forensics and the key questions to ask when hiring a digital forensics and data recovery expert.
